About HMHBC In 1971, The Childbirth Education Association of Jacksonville Inc. (CEA) was formed to educate and promote family-centered maternity care, provide early parenting support through consumer awareness and to be an advocate for children and families’ rights and needs. In 2004 CEA joined the national Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition and our name changed to "Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of North Florida, Inc." but our focus remains the same - "promoting the best from the beginning."
